Brown Aluminum Oxide are fused with premium raw materials and 3500 KVA furnace. It is perfect material specifically manufactured to be used for general abrasive applications in bonded abrasive tools, polishing and sandblasting grit. While aluminum oxide has lower hardness and abrasive capacity than diamond, boron carbide, and silicon carbide, it is widely used for grinding ferrous materials, finishing tough and hard materials. It is also be used as high-class refractory materials.
Features:
Brown corundum is a pure, non-toxic mineral containing no hazardous free silicon substances. This further allows it to be recycled, so it does not require additional waste disposal after usage.
Furthermore, brown corundum is superior to other abrasives such as slag and quartz sand. Slag is brittle and thus forms a lot of small particles during the grinding process, resulting in vast amounts of dust being suspended in the air, polluting the environment. Quartz sand is highly fragile, meaning it can’t achieve a satisfactory cleaning rate. In contrast, brown corundum produces less dust and has a better cleaning capacity, while protecting the environment and being recyclable. All of these features make brown corundum a great choice for sandblasting surface treatment.
